Evil Dead sales have already passed half a million

The number of Evil Dead sales, which was released on Friday the 13th, exceeded half a million in the first 5 days.

The survival horror game Evil Dead has managed to surpass the 500 thousand sales threshold only 5 days after its release. Gearbox’s umbrella company, Embracer Group, announced that the multiplayer horror game by Saber Interactive has exceeded 500 thousand sales.

Evil Dead sales have already reached half a million.

Evil Dead: The Game, which was originally planned to be released in 2021, was postponed to February 2022 and then to May 2022 in order to draw the final settings and add a single player mode to the game. Saber Interactive explained the delay at the time, saying, “This delay will give our team time to optimize the game. So on Friday the 13th in May, you will be able to properly blast the heads of the dead.”

This extra time that Saber Interactive devoted to the game seems to have paid off. Evil Dead is sure to make a better impression than World War Z, the company’s previous Co-Op-based zombie shooter. The game takes place between a team of 4 people trying to survive and the fifth player who controls the demon trying to hunt them.
