Lords of the Fallen: That changes in 2023
What changes from its predecessor? Lords of the Fallen 2023 takes a different path than its predecessor. Back then you could only play the protagonist “Harkyn” and form your hero from a much smaller selection of classes. That should change in 2023 with the new offshoot, because you have a much larger selection of classes.
You can also create your own hero and are no longer tied to a fixed main character. You alone decide what you look like and what fighting style you want to use. On top of that, the feeling around fights has changed. While everything felt slow and sluggish in 2014, in the new Lords of the Fallen you fight more nimbly, faster and more dynamically.
Many weapons and armor are designed to support you on your journeys and if something goes wrong, the world of the dead, Umbral, will help you get back on your feet and continue fighting.

Are classes important in Lords of the Fallen? Not necessarily. At the beginning, your class defines you, as you are given certain weapons and armor depending on which one you choose. Towards the middle and end of the game, however, this doesn’t matter, as you can modify your class so that you can cast or use any weapon, armor or spell.
