In Pokémon GO, the finals of GO Fest 2022 will take place at the end of August. We summarize all information about the global event.
When will the GO Fest Finale 2022 take place? The Pokémon GO Fest 2022 Closing Event runs on Saturday, August 27th. After three local GO Fests in Berlin, Seattle and Sapporo, however, this is again running as a global variant for all players around the world.
Do I need a ticket? The event will feature content unlocked for ticket holders only.
Do I need a ticket for all bonuses? There is no detailed announcement of the bonuses that will be available at the final event yet. However, it is conceivable that some bonuses will also be available without a ticket – at least that was the case at past GO Fests.
What does the closing event for GO Fest 2022 bring?
This content is already known: Following the initial appearance of the first Ultra Beast at GO Fest 2022, various monsters have appeared at local GO Fests over the past few weeks.
Until now, all of these monsters have been event exclusives. However, they will return for the global GO Fest and all 4 can be caught.
In addition, Shaymin’s zenith form is expected to play a role. Although this has not yet been specifically announced, it was shown in the Pokémon Presents stream in connection with the GO Fest.
This Shaymin form was previously also only available at local GO Fests. The regular Shaymin version, on the other hand, could already be caught at the global GO Fest.
At least it is certain that there will be special research for the final event, which all players with a ticket can complete. There’s a good chance Zenith Shaymin is in here.
Return of the Professor? In terms of story, we’ll probably see Professor Willow return – or at least find out exactly what happened to him. In any case, the conclusion of the story about the ultra research team member “Rin” and Willow has been announced for the event.
Are there other bonuses? This is all known content so far, but it is likely that more details and bonuses for the event will be released in the run-up to the GO Fest Closing Event.
As soon as more information is available, we will keep you posted here!
But before that, the next event in Pokémon GO is coming up: The bug crawling focuses on monsters like Genesect and Mega Scizor. All information about the beetle crawling can be found here.
