83-year-old horror: Wolf Man reinvents horror mythos

Wolf Man follows Blake (Christopher Abbott), who is traveling from San Francisco to Oregon with his wife Charlotte (Julia Garner) and daughter Ginger (Matilda Firth). There he inherited his parents’ house in the middle of the ancient, mysterious forests of the northwest.

When Blake wakes up injured and desperate in his battered car after a car accident, the idyll turns into the hunting ground of a monster: a mysterious one Creature attacks him. He survives the encounter, but the real horror only begins afterwards: in front of his frightened wife and daughter, the man turns into an animal.

As the trailer already promises, eerie images in Wolf Man are intended to create a horror that a werewolf has not caused in a long time. Thanks to Abbott (Possessor), Garner (The Royal Hotel) and Firth (Vampire Academy, Coma) represent this three shocker specialists in front of the camera. But the real guarantee of success lies behind it.

Leigh Whannell is responsible for The Wolf Man, who has left a lasting impression on countless horror fans – especially with his scripts.
