What is the plot of the Andor series?

Andor revolves around the backstory of Cassian Andor, who was involved in Rogue One as a captain of the Rebel Alliance in procuring the plans for the Death Star. In addition, it is about formative years of the rebellion. In this context, the well-known Star Wars character Mon Mothma also plays a crucial role.

Senator and later rebel leader Mon Motham is a der most exciting marginal figures in Star Wars history. She has appeared in Revenge of the Sith, Return of the Jedi and Rogue One. In the Andor series, she comes to the fore for the first time – and is to be illuminated from a completely new side.
