In the new series The Last of Us, the struggle for survival begins in a post-apocalyptic world. Critics call it the “best video game adaptation of all time” and we’ll soon find out for ourselves whether that’s true. The adaptation of the Last of Us games is coming to Germany on Monday, January 16th.
What is the horror series about?
The year is 2023: About 20 years ago, billions of people died from a pandemic caused by a mutated fungus (Ophiocordyceps unilateralis). Texan Joel (The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal) survived. He roams the post-apocalyptic environment to bring 14-year-old Ellie (Bella Ramsey from Game of Thrones) from a military-controlled quarantine zone to join a resistance group.

From now on you have to defend yourself against mutated, zombie-like creatures, but also against uninfected, brutal looters who are not only after their weapons and resources, but also their lives.
The series was created by games creator Neil Druckmann and Chernobyl author Craig Mazin. Season 1 is over nine episodes in total exist.
The Last of Us streams on Sky and Wow: the dates
In Germany, The Last of Us will probably be published in two ways. Firstly with a subscription to WOW and Sky. The following information and dates are available:
The series starts on the night of January 16, 2023 on Sky and on WOW *. It will also be available via Sky Q.
In addition, the nine episodes will be broadcast on Sky Atlantic every Monday at 8:15 p.m. from March 6, 2023.
Is The Last of Us coming to Amazon and other providers via a Season Pass?
The second option is likely to be the relay pass. Unlike the fantasy series House of the Dragon, Sky does not advertise that it will exclusively show The Last of Us. We can therefore assume that the new episodes will be broadcast in a timely manner Purchase from Amazon * and other providers will be available.

Will The Last of Us eventually stream on Netflix?
