HE WAS KEPT ON THE PLANE FOR 40 MINUTES
Israeli media reported that Herzog and his delegation were kept waiting on the plane for 40 minutes due to security concerns after a suspicious person was seen on the roof of a building near the airport where the plane landed. Herzog’s spokesman did not give details about the incident, but said the suspicious security situation was over.
STREETS CLOSED TO PASSAGE
A suspicious bag found near the stadium where Israel will play a match as part of the Olympics in Paris has prompted police to take action. After the suspicious bag was found, the surrounding streets were put under a wide security cordon and the police completely closed the street to traffic.
