In August 2023 you can expect a lot of events in Pokémon GO. We have summarized all dates and known details for you here on MeinMMO.

What events are you talking about? Every month, Pokémon GO hosts various events where you can look forward to special spawns and bonuses. So you can expect a lot of them again in August. What Niantic has planned exactly and which dates you should not miss, we have summarized below.

All events in August 2023 at a glance

What events are there in August? There’s a lot coming up in Pokémon GO in the coming weeks. So you can look forward to lots of spotlight and raid hours again. In addition to the monthly Community Day, the focus in August is on the big GO Fest with its live events and a global event weekend.

In addition, one or the other themed event is also planned. And there will also be special monthly bonuses in August. Below we have summarized all known dates and bonuses (via twitter.com).

Special bonuses for August: In addition to the numerous events, you can also look forward to special bonuses in August. The following will be active in-game from August 01, 2023 at 10:00 local time to September 01, 2023 at 10:00 local time:

  • increased rewards for a 7-day catch streak
  • 20,000 XP
  • 10,000 Stardust
  • increased rewards in a 7-day PokéStop Spin Streak

    • Which events are particularly worthwhile in August 2023?

    Don’t miss these events: There are plenty of appointments available for you in August. The following of them can be particularly worthwhile for you:

  • Spotlight Hour with Paras (8 August): If you really want to farm a lot of stardust, you shouldn’t miss the spotlight hour with Paras. The monster is one of the 22 monsters in the game that bring you more Stardust when you catch them. In addition, there is the catch bonus that is available as part of the short event, which also gives you double stardust.
  • Primal Raids Featuring Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon (August 23 – August 26): Even before the start of the GO Fest, the two proto-monsters will return to the raids. The best opportunity to secure a powerful specimen and collect Proto-Energy. Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon are some of the best attackers of their type.
  • GO Fest 2023 (26th and 27th August): One of the highlights of the year will be the global GO Fest. With this you can expect a lot of spawns and bonuses. If you have a ticket, you can look forward to the mysterious Pokémon Diancie, among other things.
  • Mega Raids with Mega Rayquaza (August 27): On the second day of GO Fest, Mega Rayquaza finally makes its in-game global debut. So you should definitely not miss this and grab the powerful attacker.
