Beetle crawling will start in Pokémon GO in a few days. The event focuses on Beetle Pokémon. A new Pokémon with two evolutions and a Mega Pokémon are also making their debut. We’ll show you everything to start with, Shinys and bonuses.

What is this event? The bug crawling is a recurring event that also ran in 2020. As you can see from the name, the focus is on the main beetle Pokémon. But your throwing skills will also be put to the test.

When does it start? The event starts on Wednesday, August 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time. It will then be active until Tuesday, August 16 at 20:00 local time.

New Pokemon: Niantic announces that a Pokémon with two evolutions will make its debut. The new Pokemon are:

You can evolve Mabula into Akkup with 25 candies. To evolve Akkup into Donarion, you must be near an active Magnet Lure Module and also use 100 Candy.

In addition, there is the new Mega Pokémon Mega Scizor. This also celebrates its debut at the Bug Crawling event. With luck you can even catch it as Shiny.

The Collector’s Challenge: This challenge revolves around catching Bug Pokémon. Those who successfully complete it will receive 15,000 XP and a Bug Collector pose. If you don’t complete the challenge in time, you can buy the pose later in the shop.
