EVAN RACHEL WOOD. Actress Evan Rachel Wood, who was in a relationship with Marilyn Manson, has made new rape charges against the singer. She says he abused her on the set of one of her music videos.

While she had already claimed that the singer had abused her when they were in a relationship, she assured during the biographical documentary Phoenix Rising that her ex had raped her while filming a music video in 2007. Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson began a romantic relationship while the star of Westworld was 18, and that the singer was 37, in 2006. Their relationship ended four years later.
Evan Rachel Wood claims to have been raped by the singer on the set of the clip “Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand). If we are to believe the actress, the sex scene visible in this clip is not simulated and she had not been warned. “We had talked about a simulated sex scene, but when the cameras started rolling, he penetrated me for real, she says in the documentary, in remarks reported by the specialized magazine RollingStone. I had never given my consent for that…” Evan Rachel Wood also assures that the filming of this clip was “a really traumatic experience. […] I felt disgust for myself, I felt like I had done something shameful […] Basically, I was raped in front of the camera.”
This is not the first time that Evan Rachel Wood has spoken out to denounce the actions of Marilyn Manson. In 2018, the Westworld actress testified to the House Judiciary Committee that she had been the victim for several years of sexual, psychological and physical abuse by an ex-boyfriend. She explains on this occasion that she suffers from severe post-traumatic stress which has had a direct impact on her career. Evan Rachel Wood isn’t the only woman accusing Marilyn Manson of abuse. At least five women had accused Brian Hugh Warner of rape or harassment in February 2021. Marilyn Manson denied the accusations against him, assuring on his Instagram account that his “intimate relations have always been entirely consented, in agreement with my partners. No matter how and why some of them today choose to represent the past, this is the truth.”
Evan Rachel Wood was born in 1987 in the United States, into an artistic family. His father, Ira David Wood II, is an actor, singer, theater director and director.
