Dick Axelsson scored 5–3 for Djurgården against Västerås.
Then the visiting supporters celebrated with pyrotechnics – and set off a fire alarm that caused an almost hour-long interruption.
– There are very few who destroy for many, unfortunately, says Dif captain Marcus Krüger after the 5-4 victory.
The Djurgård supporters celebrated wildly when Dick Axelsson made it 5-3 in the third period and raised a round overhead flag with the text “Svenska ishockeyförbundet” around a red star.
When a pyrotechnic piece was also lit, the fire alarm went off in the arena and the stands had to be emptied.
The match was suspended at 21:00 and resumed just over an hour later.
The final score was written at 5-4 to Djurgården.
Notable in the match was that the guests’ Patrick Thoresen scored his first goal in the Djurgårds jersey since he left the club in 2016.
