“Eva has been incredibly loved and has been active right up to the end and has shown with what primal strength she lived life,” the family writes in a statement.
She was 68 years old.

At least 13 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on refugee camps in central Gaza overnight Saturday, according to Palestinian authorities.
Among the dead in the Nuseirat and Bureij refugee camps were three children and a woman, according to Palestinian paramedics. The 13 bodies were counted by the journalists of the news agency AP on the spot.
In Cairo, international mediators, including the United States, continue to try to persuade Israel and Hamas to reach a peace agreement that could end the war and release the approximately 120 Israeli hostages in Gaza.
Fruitless negotiations between the warring parties have been ongoing since a week-long ceasefire in November. Both Hamas and Israel have repeatedly accused each other of destroying the negotiations before they could reach an agreement.

Spain has detained three people suspected of carrying out cyber attacks against pro-Ukrainian countries, Spanish police said.
The attacks are said to have been organized by a pro-Russian hacker group and to have targeted countries that support Ukraine during Russia’s war of invasion. Among them, public institutions and strategic sectors have been attacked in Spain and other NATO countries.
The three people were all arrested in different places in the country on suspicion of “computer-related crimes with the intention of committing terrorism”.
There is no information on what was the target of the attacks and how big the impact has been.
A person has overturned with a motorcycle between Ostvik and Drängsmak, the police announce.
The person has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
The extent of the damage and how the accident happened is still unclear.
A chemical factory started to burn on Saturday in Wackersdorf, Germany, reports Middle Bavarian.
Several firefighters rushed to the industrial premises belonging to the company Eckart.
At least one silo is said to have exploded, but it is still unclear how extensive the damage is.

During the night, a man in his 70s was flown to hospital by ambulance helicopter after a serious assault.
The man is said to have been attacked in his home south of Sälen and the police received the alarm at 05:00.

A man in his 30s was arrested after injuring a man in his 25s with scissors in Tantolunden on Södermalm in Stockholm.
– We received an alarm at a quarter to eleven that a man was chasing another man with a sharp object and we were quickly on the scene.
The plaintiff was taken to hospital by ambulance.
– He is said to have been injured in the cheek and arm, but I have no information about the state of the injury, says Anna Westberg.
The perpetrator was quickly apprehended.
– He is still caught in the morning.

Over 100 people have died and even more have been injured in the ongoing student demonstrations in Bangladesh’s capital, Dhaka.
Now there are reports that the police are shooting sharply at the protesting people, AFP reports.
The students’ anger is directed at rules that are currently based on a quota system – where around half of public employment is awarded to relatives of veterans of the 1971 liberation war.

A coalition of unions, which together organize about 14,000 workers, have been negotiating with Disneyland for wage increases and improved working conditions since April.
But negotiations have stalled and the conflict has intensified since some employees claimed that Disney is engaging in anti-union work.
The union claims more than 500 workers have been warned and threatened with punishment for wearing a union pin with a Mickey Mouse glove shaped like a clenched fist.
99 percent of union members voted to authorize a strike.
In that case, the strike would have become historic as Disney has not gone on strike since 1984.

The police also went to the scene and the man blew positive when checked.
He is now suspected of serious drunken driving and was taken into custody with the support of LOB, the law on the handling of intoxicated persons.
Interrogations must be held with the man after he has sobered up.

Gonorrhea infection continues to increase. Summer is a vulnerable time and the infection is treacherous. Several can carry gonorrhea without having noticeable symptoms.
The greatest increase occurs among young adults, but falls are also seen among considerably older people.
During the first six months of the year, the number of cases of gonorrhea has increased. Compared to the same period in 2023, the increase is approximately six percent, according to the Public Health Authority.
The increase is noticeable both in Sweden and in other EU countries. During holiday periods, more people are also at risk of being affected.
– Many have time for holidays, it’s warm times, emotions come and then it is perhaps easier to meet partners, says Inga Velicko, head of unit at the Public Health Agency.
The largest and most intensive increase occurs in the age group of young adults between 20 and 29 years. But there are also cases of infection in higher age groups such as 30 to 39, 40 to 49 and 50 to 59.
