(Finance) – The Ministry of Business and Made in Italy – on the proposal of IVASS – has today ordered the revocation of the authorization to carry out insurance and reinsurance activities for Eurovita spa and the forced administrative liquidation of Eurovita Spa and Eurovita Holding. For the Eurovita Group, subjected to provisional management with provision IVASS of 31 January 2023 and then to Extraordinary Administration with the MIMIT Decree of 29 March 2023, have not been identified solutions alternatives to that taken today.
Following the provision of liquidationthe procedural bodies that will manage the transfer of the Eurovita complex to the newco have been appointed Chronos Life, already authorized by IVASS to carry out insurance activities. This brings us to completion, within the expected time frame and with the responsible participation of the system insurance and of that bankingthe solution to the Eurovita crisis.
