The face-to-face strategy
Emmanuel Macron’s strategy for the Europeans is therefore face-to-face. Outside of the duel, the president seems to have no electoral future with a little more than three months to go before the European elections and while Jordan Bardella is widening his lead in the polls. Emmanuel Macron, by designating the RN as the one and only adversary, presents his camp as the one and only bulwark against him.
