European stocks firm ahead of Powell. Milan on top

(Telestock) – Positive session for Piazza Affari and the markets of the Old Continentwhich confirm a certain optimism in view of thespeech by Fed Chairman Jeroome Powellfrom Jackson Hole. This is thekey event of the week and, perhaps, of the month and precedes a very important month of September, if the Fed proceeds with its first rate cut and will open the door to further interventions within the year.

THE’Euro / US Dollar is substantially stable and stops at 1.112. TheGold continues trading with a fractional gain of 0.47%. Oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil) continues the session on the rise and advances to 73.73 dollars per barrel.

The Spread takes a small step downwards, with a 1.44% drop to +137 basis points, while the 10-year BTP yield stands at 3.60%.

Among the main European stock exchanges Frankfurt advances by 0.60%, moves modestly upwards Londonshowing an increase of 0.29%, and a positive balance for Pariswhich boasts a progress of 0.56%.

At Piazza Affari, the FTSE MIB continues the day with an increase of 0.97%, to 33,633 points; along the same lines, a day of gains for the FTSE Italia All-Sharewhich continues the day at 35,797 points. Slightly positive the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (+0.56%); with a similar direction, in fractional progress the FTSE Italia Star (+0.45%).

Among the best italian stocks large cap, well set up Ivecowhich shows an increase of 1.97%.

Tonic Stellantis which shows a nice advantage of 1.71%.

In light Enelwith a large increase of 1.57%.

Basically tonic Intesa San Paolowhich recorded a capital gain of 1.46%.

The worst performances, however, are recorded on Brunello Cucinelliwhich gets -0.99%.

Among the protagonists of the FTSE MidCap, Alerion Clean Power (+2.11%), Mondadori (+1.82%), Ariston Holding (+1.76%) and Pharmanutra (+1.57%).

The worst performances, however, are recorded on Carel Industrieswhich gets -0.81%.

It moves below parity De’Longhishowing a decrease of 0.78%.

Moderate contraction for Juventuswhich suffered a decline of 0.75%.

Undertone Sesa which shows a reduction of 0.67%.
