(Finance) – Mixed session for the European stock markets, where the increases in Frankfurt and Madrid stand out and the weak day in Milan and Paris. In France, attention remains high on the political crisis: the leader of the far-right Rassemblement National (RN) party Marine Le Pen has declared that her party will vote for all votes of no confidence against Prime Minister Michel Barnier, regardless of who presents them, after Barnier has resorted to the special powers granted by the Constitution to approve the Social Security law.

On the macroeconomic front, Istat confirmed that in the third quarter theItalian economy remained unchanged compared to the April-June period, with a trend growth of 0.4%, while in October the number of people employed increased by 47,000 units (+0.2%), with the employment rate at 62.5% from 62 .4% and an unemployment level of 5.8% (never so low since April 2007). In Eurozonethe final purchasing managers’ index (PMI) fell to 45.2 points in November, in line with the preliminary estimate and further below the threshold of 50 that separates growth from contraction.

Slight increase for Milan Stock Exchangewith the FTSE MIB which rises by 0.21% to 33,483 points, while, on the contrary, the FTSE Italia All-Shareclosing at 35,638 points. Slightly negative FTSE Italia Mid Cap (-0.47%); consolidates the levels of the day before FTSE Italia Star (-0.16%).
According to Piazza Affari, the exchange value in the latest it was equal to 2.81 billion euros, with an increase of 742.2 million euros, equal to 35.92% compared to the previous 2.07 billion; while the volumes traded went from 0.45 billion shares in the previous session to 0.5 billion shares on 2/12/2024.
Among the best Blue Chips of Piazza Affari, stands out Nexi which marks an important progress of 5.50%. Well bought Campariwhich marks a strong increase of 2.36%. Generali Insurance advances by 1.70%. Substantially toned Leonardowhich recorded a capital gain of 1.49%.
The strongest sales, however, hit Stellantiswhich ended trading at -6.30%. Negative session for Italgaswhich shows a loss of 2.11%. Under pressure ERGwhich suffered a decline of 1.92%. It slides Telecom Italiawith a clear disadvantage of 1.63%.
Among the protagonists of the FTSE MidCap, Alerion Clean Power (+3.66%), Ferragamo (+3.25%), Carel Industries (+2.24%) e Pharmanutra (+1.27%).
The strongest sales, however, hit Juventuswhich ended trading at -4.40%. In red MFE Awhich highlights a sharp decline of 2.27%. The negative performance of Zignago Glasswhich drops by 2.10%. SOL drops by 2.07%.
