In exactly one month, the European elections are being held, and this evening we are focusing on the left in France. Two years ago, it managed to unite during the legislative elections: it was the creation of the famous Nupes which made it possible to obtain a good score, and 150 deputies. But for more than a year already, this union has been cracking here and there, and the phenomenon is growing as the European elections approach: two of the main left-wing lists. France insoumise on one side, and the PS Place publique, on the other, are tearing each other apart through interposed declarations, some even pointing the finger at “ a brutalization of political life “. So, is there a war of the left? Is this a new phenomenon? Can the left hope to win elections in this context? And what are the areas of contention?
