Smink and Van ‘t End both competed in the category up to 90 kilos. Smink won two matches but in the final of his group he lost to the Serbian Darko Brasnjovic. As a result, the Highlander entered the rematch, but he lost right there in the first match against Mammadali Mehdiyev from Azerbaijan.
