Europa League draw: Leverkusen, Liverpool… Marseille will be very heavy! Time and TV channel of the draw

Europa League draw Leverkusen Liverpool Marseille will be very heavy

The only survivor in the Europa League, OM will take on a very heavy challenge for the round of 16.

There’s only one left. Despite its four clubs involved in the Europa League play-offs, only one club managed to pass the round and awaits its opponent for the round of 16 of the Europa League, Olympique de Marseille. In a very complicated season, the Marseillais are offering themselves a bit of a dream by reaching the next round.

But from now on, the task promises to be particularly difficult for Marseille, which awaits its opponent this Friday, February 23. Qualified by the play-offs, the Olympians will face a team which qualified directly for the round of 16 of the competition and there is a very heavy challenge for Jean Louis Gasset’s men.

The draw concerns 16 teams. The eight winners of the group stage, known since December 14, and the eight winners of the play-offs for the knockout stage. No team from the same country can compete against each other.
