(Finance) – Signs of worsening for European consumer confidence in January.
The flash estimate from the latest monthly survey, conducted by Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Community (DG ECFIN), highlights that consumer sentiment in the eurozone is negative and stands at -16 points compared to -15 in December 2023.
The data is even worse than market expectations which were for a level at -14.3 points.
