With five wins in five games, the players of Didier Deschamps knew how to manage the match perfectly with numerous opportunities which allowed Aurélien Tchouaméni (19th minute) then Marcus Thuram (48th minute) to score for the Blues. Lilian Thuram’s son was able to score his first goal in the blue jersey. Failing to shine, Kylian Mbappé’s teammates provided the essentials despite Olivier Giroud’s injury exit in the first period. Thanks to this victory, they take the lead in group B with 15 points. This success allows them to approach the next big meeting against the Netherlands on October 13 without stress.
Qualifications for Euro 2024 must decide between 53 teams divided into 10 groups (seven groups of 5 and three groups of 6). After the draw carried out on October 9, 2022 from Frankfurt in Germany, host country of the competition, the French team, present in pot 2, finds itself in pool B with the Netherlands, Ireland, Greece and Gibraltar… All groups:

Euro 2024 news and matches
The next Euro football tournament in 2024 will open on June 14, 2024 at the Allianz Arena in Munich for the opening match before closing on July 14, 2024 with the final at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
Euro 2024 will take place in a single country in 2024, in Germany. The competition was awarded by UEFA in September 2018. Three groups of venues have been established for this Euro: North – North East (Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig), West (Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Cologne) and South (Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart).
