With its 3-0 victory on Friday June 16 in Gibraltar, the French team took a serious option in qualifying for Euro 2024.
The Blues have come closer to qualifying for Euro 2024 after their success on the lawn of Gibraltar 3-0 on Friday June 16. The France team is first in its group B ahead of Greece and the Netherlands. The men of Didier Deschamps will play this evening at the Stade de France against the Greeks. So far they are undefeated and France have not conceded a goal. In the event of victory, if the Blues will not qualify, they will have taken a big step towards Germany, as Didier Deschamps explained at the microphone of Téléfoot on Sunday June 18.
The vice-world champions make an ideal campaign. After Greece, the Blues will have completed the first leg of these qualifications. They will thus be able to begin the second part of these phases more serenely. The coach could even afford to try playing systems and players who have less opportunity to shine with the tricolor jersey.
Here are all the rankings of the Euro 2024 qualifications with in particular the group of the France team. The first two of each group will be directly qualified at the end of the qualification phase, on November 21, 2023. A play-off phase has been set from March 21 to 26, 2024 between the twelve best-ranked teams in the general classification of the League of nations, for the allocation of the last three places.
The qualifications for Euro 2024 must decide between 53 teams divided into 10 groups (seven groups of 5 and three groups of 6).
