Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederis arrived on Monday to D’Egmont, Brussels to discuss the Union’s defense with other EU leaders.
Denmark is now from the US direction to two fake: President Donald Trump Possibly wants to take over Greenland and put the Union countries into the extension of the import duties. Frederiksen had enough feedback on both things.
US Vice President JD VANCE had called Denmark on the weekend as a “bad ally” In an interview with Fox News.
– We have been fighting the Americans for decades. We are one of the best and most important allies in the United States, Frederis said.
In his answer, Frederisen suggested that Denmark has, among other things, been one of the most loyal supporters of the United States in the country’s offensive war in the last decades of the country in Iraq and Afghanistan. As many as 43 Danish soldiers died in the war in Afghanistan.
– I don’t want to hear that we are called a bad ally. We are not. And we’re not going to be, Frederis said.
Frederiksen, who was flashed to the EU, was equally firmly feeding on Trump’s flashed EU territory.
– Unfortunately, we have to give a strong answer. I say “unfortunately” because it will affect ordinary people. Employees and companies in the United States, Europe and Canada, Frederisen said.
Frederis said he did not want a trade war, but if the United States forces Europe, a strong answer is the only option.
