EU stock markets on the rise little movement in Piazza

(Finance) – The Milan stock exchange moved little, which does not align with the bullish trend of the other Euroland stock markets. The FTSE MIB briefly touched 30,000 points during the first trades, a level it had not seen since the end of June 2008, only to then return below this psychological threshold.

On the monetary policy front, Isabel Schnabel (member of the ECB’s governing council) told Reuters that “the latest inflation data was quite good a further increase in rates is unlikely“, but also that we must not “prematurely declare victory over inflation”.

On the macroeconomic front, i PMI data of the usual Hamburg Commercial Bank (HCOB)-S&P Global survey highlighted that the contraction of theeurozone extended to six months in November, with strong reductions in new orders and orders in stock. Meanwhile, theIstat revised it downwards GDP growth forecast for this year at +0.7% from the +1.2% assumed in June and at +0.7% for 2024 from the previous +1.1%.

L’Euro / US Dollar maintains the position substantially stable at 1.082. Session in fractional decline for thegold, which leaves, for now, 0.21% on the floor. The Petrolium (Light Sweet Crude Oil) continues the session just below parity with a negative change of 0.21%.

The Spreads takes a small step downwards, with a drop of 1.70% to +173 basis points, while the yield of the 10-year BTP stands at 4.03%.

Among the European price lists substantially toned Frankfurtwhich recorded a capital gain of 0.24%, moved below parity Londonhighlighting a decrease of 0.53%, and moderate gain for Pariswhich advances by 0.30%.

TO MilanThe FTSE MIB it is substantially stable and stands at 29,915 points; on the same line, the FTSE Italia All-Share, with prices positioned at 31,864 points. Without direction the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (+0.2%); moderately rising FTSE Italia Star (+0.26%).

At the top of the ranking of the most important titles of Milan, we find Pirelli (+3.40%), DiaSorin (+1.64%), STMicroelectronics (+1.59%) e Saipem (+1.56%).

The strongest sales, however, occur at Leonardo, which continues trading at -1.80%. Moderate contraction for BPM desk, which suffers a decline of 1.33%. Undertone BPER which shows a reduction of 1.22%. Disappointing Nexiwhich lies just below the levels of the day before.

Among the protagonists of the FTSE MidCap, Maire Tecnimont (+3.79%), Pharmanutra (+3.56%), Caltagirone SpA (+2.47%) e Saras (+2.13%).

The worst performances, however, are recorded on Acea, which gets -1.55%. Lame Technogym, which shows a small decrease of 1.49%. Modest descent for LU-VE Group, which drops a small -1.21%. Thoughtful BFF Bankwith a fractional decline of 1.14%.
