(Finance) – The European Commission has approvedpursuant to the EU Merger Regulation, theacquisition of the exclusive control of the Finnish Purmo Group by the American Apollo Global Management. The operation mainly concerns the sector of solutions for indoor climate comfort.
The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise any competition concerns, given the limited market positions of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction. The notified transaction was examined under the simplified concentration examination procedure.
