(Finance) – The European Commission has approvedpursuant to the EU Merger Regulation, theacquisition of joint control of the American Pinnacle I project by the Italian ERG and the American Apex Clean Energy Holdings. The operation mainly concerns the production of renewable energy.
The Commission concluded that the notified operation would not raise competition concerns, given the limited impact on the European Economic Area. The notified transaction was examined under the simplified concentration examination procedure.
