After the elimination of Alex and Sylvie last week, the pairs still in contention flew to Uzbekistan for new stages. The unknown duo having failed to deliver the black flag in less than two hours, they automatically found themselves in the final duel.
But it was without counting on a twist: Etienne announces at the end of the episode that he has decided to abandon Beijing Express. The Cannes doctor justified his abandonment by his physical condition, saying he was “physically exhausted”. “As it was very important for Vanessa, I tried to do the maximum and to hold on for her, but there, I can no longer bring her anything”. As a result, there was no final duel at the end of Beijing Express, and the unknown pair was eliminated on retirement.
Upon discovering her decision, her partner burst into tears upon learning of her decision, since participating in Beijing Express was “a dream” for her: “It’s very hard for me because it was not me who decided it “, laments Vanessa. I find that this abandonment is cowardly, it’s cowardly to give up like that. In the last kilometers of the race, they were spotted by other Beijing Express candidates, Jean-Claude and Axel. The grandfather and grandson duo managed to catch them and permanently eliminate them from the M6 adventure game. In fifteen seasons, this is the first time that a hidden pair has been caught and eliminated by other candidates.

Beijing Express is an adventure game broadcast since 2006 on M6. This television show, presented by Stéphane Rotenberg, sees pairs go abroad every year. The goal: to survive thanks to the inhabitant and to go to different stages in the country, to rub shoulders with events that allow them to qualify for the rest of the competition.
The 2022 season of Beijing Express is broadcast on M6 from February 10, 2022. Please note, the day of broadcast has changed: it is no longer Tuesday evening, but now Thursday evening that viewers will be able to find the adventure game at the other end of the world.

What is the Express Pass?
In episode 1, viewers discovered a new rule that will shake up the competition: the express pass. This advantage will allow the pair who wins it this season (in the first episode) to avoid the final duel if they finish a stage being neither first nor last. The duo that benefits from it can play it until the seventh episode. Once used, the express pass can no longer be used by another pair and this advantage disappears from the competition.
Beijing Express is broadcast from February 10, 2022, on Thursday evenings, from 9:05 p.m. M6 has been broadcasting this adventure game since its creation. The first episode is broadcast every week: February 10, February 17, February 24, March 3… If you missed an episode, it is however possible to catch up on replay. The day after its broadcast, the sixth channel puts it online for eight days on its streaming and replay platform. 6play.
For the time being, we do not know the winners of Beijing Express 2022, the season having not yet been broadcast on M6. During the last season of Beijing Express, the final of which was broadcast on M6 on April 27, 2021, Claire and Christophe became the 2021 winners against Cinzia and Rose-Marie. The father-daughter duo won 58,730 euros. The previous edition, Beijing Express All Stars, saw the victory of the Corsican couple Julie and Denis, finalists of the 2013 season.
