Winning return for Estelle Mossely. Almost a year after her last professional fight, won against Argentina’s Yanina del Carmen Lescano in Dubai in March 2022, the Frenchwoman won against Anisha Basheel. The Malawian, 18th in the IBO lightweight ranking, lost on points to the French champion in Paris, Salle Wagram. Estelle Mossely, who organized this fight herself with her promoter’s license, won by unanimous decision (100-90, 99-91, 99-91). She now has 11 victories in as many pro fights. The 2016 Olympic champion has achieved significant success in her quest for a second gold medal, in 2024 at the Paris Games.
