It’s almost time: The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will bring the High Isle chapter on June 6th as the most important content patch for 2022. We’ll give you a brief overview of what you need to know about the release and when you can play it.
When can you download ESO High Isle? The big chapter is scheduled for Monday June 6th. While you can pre-purchase the chapter, the patch can only really be downloaded on the release date. So, for better or for worse, you will be left to flounder a bit.
If you want to play the new content on the Xbox or PlayStation, then you even have to wait until June 21st. For the PC and Mac platforms, however, June 6th applies.
From what time can you play? Similar to a “normal” Monday, you have to be patient until the maintenance of the server is completed. How quickly you can then start the new chapter depends on how quickly you have loaded the patch.
But in order not to sit completely on hot coals, you can also query the ESO server status via your browser.
How to get ESO High Isle? You will get several answers to this question. Because depending on what exactly you want, there are 4 different versions of the new chapter. But before you let yourself be overwhelmed, we’ll explain briefly how to do it right.

Already own the base game? If so, make sure you’re buying the upgrade and not the collection. Here you also have the choice of the standard or the collectors edition. If you enjoy a bit of bells and whistles, then the Collector’s Edition would probably be the one for you.
