After almost a week on the run, the deadly king cobra Sir Väs, or Houdini as he also began to be called after his breakaway coup, has been found. Jonas Wahlström, who is the manager at the Skansenakvariet, explains how the cobra is to be captured and how his continued existence will be once they have caught him.
Room arrest is now expected
The customs cameras have located the cobra, which remains in the inner wall of Skansenakvariet. Yesterday, the cobra was close to being caught when he stuck his head out, but chose to go back to the hiding place when he saw the customs officials waiting outside. Now he has been targeted again and the work to get him out of the wall will go quickly, says Wahlström, who himself will be there and capture Sir Väs. What awaits after capture is strict room arrest.
