An escaped domestic bird has been found outdoors in Krylbo.
The bird has a yellow tuft on its head, yellow cheeks with orange-red spots, and a grey-black-white body.
– If you realize that you are missing your bird, you are welcome to call 114 14, says Christina Hallin, police spokesperson.
On Saturday morning, the police received a call from a private person in Krylbo outside Avesta.
– It is a man who says he has found something similar to a budgie, says Christina Hallin.
The man went to the police station in Avesta with the frozen bird, which he found outside. There it was taken care of by the police.
– We think someone is missing it. Maybe it flew out of an open window or similar, says Hallin.
The bird, which does not appear to be injured, has a yellow tuft on its head, yellow cheeks with orange-red spots, and a grey-black-white body.
– We think it could be a nymph parakeet, but we are not sure.
