Both Rijkswaterstaat and the Central Government Real Estate Agency never wanted to answer questions about the total costs. On the basis of the data from the Wob request, RTV Utrecht arrived at an amount of approximately 9 million euros. The minister is now adjusting that amount downwards, and says that the total costs for the restoration have cost 8.2 million euros, of which more than 3 million euros for the pond, and 1.6 million euros for the facade.
