Erling Haaland can now be punished for three (!) forbidden words after the giant rage in the PL big game: “It’s offensive”

Erling Braug Haaland can now be punished for three prohibited words on social media.

Manchester City was about to decide the Premier League match against Tottenham. Then the referee blew a free kick.

Haaland’s anger

The City star Erling Braut Haaland became furious with the referee – which could cost him dearly. In addition to the Norwegian confronting the referee with profanity during and after the match, he wrote “WTF” – which stands for “what the fuck” – on social media.
– I think Haaland can get into trouble. He uses abusive words against the referee and the Twitter message is also quite interesting, said Jason Burtfootball journalist at The Telegraph, to Verdens Gang.

Burt says, however, that the English Football Association FA may be looking through their fingers too Erling Braut Haaland’s outburst given the referee’s apparent error in the match which ended 3–3.

Guardiola calm

It was in added time that Haaland sent off another deep pass Jack Graelish who was about to get completely free. The referee then chose to blow a free kick for City, which made Haaland and his teammates furious with the referee.

Even after the final whistle, they confronted the referee with not so well chosen words. Perhaps the only one in City who kept calm was the coach Pep Guardiola.

“Not Arteta”

At the press conference he said he did not want to make a “Mikel Arteta comment”.
– It was not because of this (the free-kick situation) that we got a draw, said Guardiola.

The FA recently opened a disciplinary case against the Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta who criticized the referee after a controversial VAR situation which awarded Newcastle a penalty.
