On Monday, Djurgården announced that it was lending Filip Eriksson, 20, from Växjö Lakers over the remaining part of the season. Eriksson had a strong lending to Nybro Vikings last year, with 24 points (10+14) in 20 matches, but during this season he has had it all the tougher in SHL. There it has been six points (2+4) in 37 matches.
Once in his new club, Eriksson is thrown into the hot air directly. First match? A roasting Stockholm derby against AIK, which has eleven straight wins.
– It’s exciting. Fun to get lira, into the hot air directly with a derby. It’s fun, he says in TV4’s broadcast.
Eriksson enters a line with Arvid Costmar and Tyler Kelleher.
– There are two really good hockey players. It’s just on the back and drive on.
Now the 20-year-old is looking forward to the rest of the season.
– It is to step all the time. Djurgården has a goal and it is fun to be part of that trip.
