In TV4’s “Nyhetsmorgon”, viewers not only get to take part in current news events and interviews with everything from politicians and experts to artists and actors. There will also be a lot of cooking.
A recurring face in the studio’s kitchen is Erik Videgårdwho both ran restaurants and wrote several acclaimed cookbooks over the years.

Erik Videgård has cooked for Clinton and Putin
What many may not know is that “Nyhetsmorgon” presenters are far from the most famous people that Erik Videgård has cooked for during his career.
The list of celebrities to whom the chef has served food includes, for example, the President of Russia Vladimir Putinwho was a guest at Videgård’s former restaurant in Saint Petersburg and the ex-president of the United States Bill Clinton as well as the former Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair who paid a visit to the Lydmar Hotel where Videgård was later a chef.
– When they were about to leave, Clinton even apologized for having sat so long at their table. People who are at the top of the hierarchy are usually very free to choose and unproblematic to have as diners. That intermediate layer that has not yet reached the top is usually more demanding. There you have to be prepared that there will be detailed instructions about how they want their food, that they don’t eat certain things and want to replace some ingredients with something else, Videgård told The ice courier earlier.

Erik Videgård is friends with Daniel Craig
Erik Videgård also recently shared a post on Instagram where he recalled a time when he cooked for a high-profile Hollywood actress: Daniel Craig.
“Daniel is at least 10 cm shorter than me, but still it turned out like this… Nice picture though! And! Unforgettable memories from nine months of my life. Not only did I get to cook Daniel’s food when he was going to do ‘Skyfall’ afterwards but I also got to make the food that was seen in the movie ‘Girl with the dragon tattoo’. Great!”, writes the chef to the picture where he is standing next to the “James Bond” actor.
And the fact is that Videgård and Craig have remained friends.
“Absolutely,” the chef replies when a follower asks if he’s still friends with the actor.

Other followers are greatly impressed by Videgård’s friendship and image.
