Erik Karlsson ready for World Cup games: “Incredibly fun”

Tre Kronor gets a very nice reinforcement for the WC through star defender Erik Karlsson.

– It will be extremely fun, I am incredibly proud to be able to put on the Tre Kronor shirt again, says the 33-year-old in a post on Twitter.

Karlsson, whose new team Pittsburgh missed the Stanley Cup playoffs, has not played in the World Cup since 2017.

It has also become clear that Buffalo forward Victor Olofsson will come to the WC in the Czech Republic in May.

The 28-year-old’s last WC was in 2021.

It has already been clear that teammate Rasmus Dahlin will go with him to the Czech Republic in May. André Burakovsky and Joel Eriksson Ek have also thanked for WC games.
