Ericsson has started a strategic collaboration with the German mobile operator Deutsche Telekom, to offer new tools for developers and companies when they have to integrate network investments in their applications, writes the Swedish telecom manufacturer in a press release.

Ericsson calls the partnership with Deutsche Telekom in the field “a milestone”, which creates better conditions for making money from network investments.

According to Ericsson, it is about big money. According to the consulting agency STL Partners, new revenue opportunities of over 20 billion dollars (equivalent to roughly 220 billion kroner) will be created by 2028.
