In an interview with the Express on the occasion of the Objectif Climat event, Eric Lombard unveiled a massive investment plan aimed at mobilizing 100 billion euros over five years, to contribute to France’s objective of zero carbon emissions by 2050. The funds will be allocated to the thermal renovation of buildings, the promotion of renewable energies, the development of soft mobility and the protection of biodiversity. He also insisted on the urgency of this transition, underlining the already visible impacts of climate change on our societies and our daily lives.
