Rauma Lukko has signed an extension of the year with a 33-year-old Canadian defender.
Canadian defender Eric Gélinas Continue on the Rauma Luko SM League team next season. Lock has signed a year’s extension agreement with him.
Gélinas, 33, joined Luko’s team in early December. Before coming to Rauma, he had not played in the early part of the season.
This season, the Canadian has played 21 matches with 6+11 games.
“This is a really big success from the entire Luko organization that we could keep him in Rauma next season,” says Luko’s sports director in the release Kalle Sahlstedt.
Eric Gélinas praises the Rauma audience in the release. The championship hunt in Rauma is also interested.
– One of the biggest reasons to continue here is that we have a really strong team. When you reach a certain age, winning the championships is why you play.
Sports Director Sahlstedt highlights the characteristics of Gélinas by overwhelming.
– With his expertise, we got a whole new dimension to the special situation gaming. The bet is quite world -class and immediately showed what his men are, definitely one of the best players in the league.
