(Finance) – ERG, a company listed on Euronext Milan and active in the production of electricity from renewable sources, has announced that the growth of its renewable portfolio in Italy continues. He has indeed completed the construction and the energization of the Roccapalumba wind farm, in the province of Palermo, has begun. The plant, developed and built internally by the group, consists of 13 3.6 MW Vestas V117 turbines, for a total installed capacity of 47 MW and an estimated annual production of approximately 100 GWh.
The productions of the Roccapalumba wind farm will be best exploited through the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed with Google, which provides for the supply to the latter of the renewable energy and guarantees of origin produced by the new plant.
