EQUITA strengthens partnership with Clairfield for M&A. John Andrew is Senior Advisor

(Finance) – EQUITYan independent investment bank listed on Euronext STAR Milan, announced on consolidation of relationships with Clairfieldpartnerships with leading M&A advisory and corporate finance companies, and the appointment of John Andrew as senior advisor.

Among the founding members of Clairfield International – through K Finance, the latter acquired by EQUITA in 2020 and renamed EQUITA Mid Cap Advisory last May – since 2004 EQUITA has been promoting the development of this partnership in the world of M&A advisory. Over the years Clairfield has achieved a global scale, growing both in the number of professionals, now more than 400, and in geographical presence in all major economies, with offices in more than 30 countries around the world.

Today Clairfield boasts numerous areas of expertiseincluding six specific sectors, expertise in debt and capital advisory and ESG consultancy: a solid track record which includes the verticals “Business & Financial Services”, “Consumer & Retail”, “Energy, Cleantech & Resources”, “Healthcare” , “Industrials”, “Tech, Software & Digital” more than 800 midmarket deals successfully closed in the last five years (including 82 EQUITA mandates) and 196 during 2023 (including 19 EQUITA mandates).

In addition to strengthening its partnership with Clairfield, EQUITA also announced theentry of John Andrew as senior advisor. Andrew will contribute to EQUITA’s growth in the world of investment banking, expanding the advisory platform’s access to a more international audience, with particular attention to M&A activities dedicated to private equity funds. Andrew has more than thirty years of experience and during his long career as a banker he has worked in companies such as Schroders, Citi, Eidos Partners and, most recently, William Blair.
