As the Hollywood Reporter reports, the director is shooting his new film Eddington as usual for the US studio A24. Eddington should take care of one Small-town sheriff in New Mexico with big ambitions turn. There are no more details about the plot yet.
Details about the impressive cast of the western were revealed. Joaquin Phoenix (Joker), Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), recent Oscar winner Emma Stone (Poor Things) and Austin Butler (Elvis) will star in Eddington.

In the film business The Western genre seems to be slowly making a comeback to the cinema. The Kevin Costner epic Horizon, which will be at least two parts, will be released this year. The star sacrificed his series hit Yellowstone for the western saga.
If Beau Is Afraid is any indication of the quirkiness of Aster’s next film, Eddington will be anything but your average western.
When does Ari Aster’s Western start in cinemas?
A theatrical release for Eddington has not yet been announced. Since filming will probably start soon, the western, for example sometime in 2025 appear. Costner’s two Horizon parts launch on August 22, 2024 and November 7, 2024.
