In the small town of Derry, children are mysteriously disappearing. A group of friends who call themselves the Losers Club want to get to the bottom of what’s going on. And discovered behind events a cruel demon in the form of a clown (Tim Curry), also known as Pennywise.

In its 192 minutes running time, it offers the full variety of Stephen King’s famous novel. Of the disturbing conditions under which the “losers” have to grow up, to the precisely observed horror of the clown figure, the film with its dark themes is still as captivating today as it was on the first day.

No wonder, then, that the substance is now was released a second time as a film. With It and IT Chapter 2, horror expert Andy Muschietti (Mama) brought the template to the cinema 27 years later.
