In several Dala municipalities, they have been difficult to find substitutes during the summer, reports Swedens radio.
That is why Malung has now chosen to target young people with EPA tractors who have had to relieve staff, including cleaning and shopping.
Elin Eriksson is one of the new substitutes, and she is happy with her new summer job.
– I think it’s great fun, really. The elderly are so grateful and that is why it is fun to wake up in the morning and go to work, says Elin Eriksson.
