Exploitation of natural resources and pollution continue to push the Earth beyond its resilience. Of the nine planetary ecological thresholds identified, six have already been exceeded and two others are in the process of being exceeded: ocean acidification and air pollution. This is the warning issued on September 13 by a team of 29 international scientists.
