Sun and up to 15 degrees are what awaits in several parts of the country at the beginning of the weekend. In addition, Saturday offers a relatively rare weather phenomenon.
– In large parts of the country, there are good chances to see the partial solar eclipse that occurs in the middle of the day, says TV4’s meteorologist Linda Eriksson.
During Friday, many can enjoy double -digit degrees around the country. In the southeastern parts we get temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees, locally it can even be even warmer, according to TV4’s meteorologist Linda Eriksson. But there are great contrasts between the country’s southern and northern parts.
– At the same time, rain and snowfall move north across northern Sweden, says Linda Eriksson.
And already on Saturday there will be reverse conditions. Instead, the sunniest weather is expected in the inner and eastern parts of Norrland.
-The temperature can reach up to 7-10 degrees, says Linda Eriksson, but emphasizes that more clouds are expected with villages of rain and snow in the mountains.
Even in southern Sweden, more clouds come in on Saturday.
– At times, the clouds can be quite dense, but there is also evacuation for sun.
However, the highest temperatures on Saturday are expected to continue in Götaland and eastern Svealand where it will be 10-15 degrees.
Chance to see partial solar eclipse
The clear weather makes it possible for many to see a not quite common weather phenomenon if you look up in the sky.
– In large parts of the country there are thus good chances to see the partial solar eclipse that occurs in the middle of the day on Saturday, says Linda Eriksson.
But already on Sunday, the clouds around the country increase again and it becomes overcast in many places with lower temperature.
– The temperature reduction will be most noticeable in Götaland and Svealand, where there are now only occasional plus degrees and in addition a rainfall area moves in. In essence, there is rain that is expected, but also elements of snow can occur.
But don’t despair.
– Already at the beginning of next week, spring hot air sweeps over the country again, as the forecast looks now.
