Eni Snam partnership to kick off in January in Algeria

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – snam and Eni announce that the conditions precedent envisaged in the purchase and sale agreement signed on 27 November 2021 relating to the acquisition by Snam of 49.9% of a newly established company of the Eni Group in which all the equity investments held have been transferred by the Eni Group in the companies that manage the two groups of international pipelines that connect Algeria to Italy or, in particular, the onshore pipelines that extend from the border between Algeria and Tunisia to the Tunisian coast (the so-called TTPC pipeline) and the pipelines offshore that connect the Tunisian coast to Italy (the so-called TMPC pipeline).

Snam and Eni – reads a note – are proceeding with the further fulfilments for the completion of the transaction which is expected by the first half of January 2023.
