(Finance) – Eni has communicated that it has purchasedbetween 27 June and 1 July 2022, overall 3,873,333 treasury sharesat the weighted average price of € 11.5037 per share, for a countervalue overall of 44,557,749.10 eurosas part of the authorization to purchase treasury shares approved by the Shareholders’ Meeting of 11 May 2022.
Since the start of the program, the company that operates throughout the energy chain has purchased 17,292,515 own shares (equal to 0.48% of the share capital) for a total value of 221,329,436 euros.
Following the purchases made up to 1 July, considering the treasury shares already in portfolio and the cancellation of 34,106,871 treasury shares resolved by the Shareholders’ Meeting of 11 May 2022, Eni holds 49,023,817 treasury shares equal to 1, 37% of the share capital.
Meanwhile, in Milan, Eni it moves into negative territory and stands at € 10.67, with a decrease of 1.53%.
