(Finance) – Eni has announced that it has purchasedbetween 24 and 28 October 2022, in total 12,439,005 own sharesand, at the weighted average price of € 12.6142 per share, for a countervalue equal to 156,908,552.98 euror, as part of the authorization to purchase treasury shares approved by the Shareholders’ Meeting of 11 May 2022.
Since the start of the program, the company that operates throughout the energy chain has purchased 154,111,342 treasury shares (equal to 4.32% of the share capital) for a total value of 1,819,510,311 euros.
Following the purchases made up to 28 October, considering the treasury shares already in portfolio and the cancellation of 34,106,871 treasury shares resolved by the Shareholders’ Meeting of 11 May 2022, Eni holds 185,842,644 treasury shares equal to 5.20% of the share capital.
Meanwhile, in Milan, the performance of the six-legged dog companywhich stands at 13.59 euros, with an increase of 0.44%.
