Theodor Engström planned to murder Annie Lööf and had mapped her for several years. SVT can now show images from Almedalen when Engström photographed the C leader back in 2014.
Engström has said in questioning that he was in Almedalen several times earlier during the politicians’ week. He has also stated that he has been armed in previous years.
It was during the Almedal week last summer that Engström killed Sweden’s psychiatry coordinator Ing-Marie Wieselgren. Now he is charged with terrorist offenses for the murder.
